Timing
Apart from locations, I also wanted to ensure it could all fit with Homer's clues surrounding departures and arrivals. Obviously, there weren't any convenient clocks hanging about back then, so precise timing is a little tricky, but I will venture to try going by Homer's often detailed descriptions of specific circumstances.
Odysseus has been brought to land at 6:30 hrs and he doesn't witness the Phaeacians leaving the bay, so he can't have risen till much later, let's say he awakes at sunrise around 7:30. He then has a brief encounter with shepherd 'Athena' till about 7:45, after which he journeys up and down the mountain, which would mean he'd be back at 9:45 to hide the treasure and would subsequently have arrived at Mikros Gialos at about 11:15 hrs.
Starting with Odysseus' departure from Calypso on the 22nd of November, I have been providing dates for every event and from this point on, it's by now December 16th, I will start adding times as well. First I had to check the distances I believed Odysseus and others traveled and, of course, measure how long it would've approximately taken. The trip from Kypos beach up and down to the pass took us about 2 hours, for example.
Sunrise on December 16th will be at 7:34.
